Abstract

Introduction. Indonesia has about 5 thousand librarians registered with the National Library. The condition of the librarian's competence varies greatly. The National Library of Indonesia has conducted training for competency improvement, but its success is not yet known. To determine the effectiveness of the training, this research was conducted. Research methods. This research is a survey research. The sample is a librarian who received management training from the National Library of Indonesia. The sample was drawn based on purposive sampling with a three-year limit of participants, namely 2017, 2018, and 2019. The questionnaire was made using a google survey. The incoming data is then tabulated, processed and analyzed. Results and Discussion. A total of 34 respondents (91.89%) think that management training is very useful. Twenty-nine respondents (78.38%) felt that 2 weeks was sufficient time for training. The training subject "Indonesian Library Development Policy" is considered the most helpful in the work. Meanwhile, the training subject "Management of library promotion and cultivating a love of reading" is a training subject that is considered very important for librarians. All respondents said that this education and training needs to be maintained. Conclusion. Respondents agree that management training is useful to support their work. The available training time is considered sufficient. The most useful training subject of the basic group is “Indonesian library development policy”. The managerial ability of the respondents became better after the training. Respondents agreed that this training should be maintained.

Abstract

Introduction. Digital library websites are currently the most widely used to find the information and literature, because they are more accessible and not limited by space and time. For optimally used, an evaluation must be carried out by analyzing the performance and characteristics of website visitors. This study aim to analyze website performance and the features of visitors to the nuclear digital library. Method. The study used a descriptive research method. Population is website visitors on the https://digilib.batan.go.id/ site from March-December 2021, as many as 3,293 people. The data collection technique from Google Search Console (GSC) and Google Analytics (GA). Findings. The results showed that the average website performance on search engines was 10.6. The highest keyword-based search is dosimetry 295. The top page with the most clicks is the article published in the proceedings. Indonesia is the country with the most broadcasts out of 227 countries. The characteristics of website visitors have increased with a total of 3,923 visitors. The demographics of website visitors, Indonesia occupied the highest position, and the highest cities is Jakarta. The highest browser usage is chrome at 81.21%, windows operating system 75.84% and desktop devices at 82.21%. Conclusion. Website performance has increased after adding GSC. Similarly, the characteristics of website visitors from GA data have increased, but decreased in the following month. In order for the number of visitors to continue to increase, the website content must always increase.

Abstract

Introduction. IPB University has produced many innovations both in research and scientific works that have been carried out by lecturers and students. As one of the requirements in completing their studies at university, students are required to write a scientific work in the form of a thesis. Method. This study uses descriptive quantitative research methods. The sample is limited to years from 2019-2020. The data was processed using MS Excel and the Universal Decimal Classification standard and mapping using the VosViewer-Visualizing Scientific Landscapes 1.6.1.5. Keyword analysis was carried out to obtain a visualization of the map of the relationship between keywords. Research result. The results showed that the thesis of IPB University students graduated from 2019-2020 as 1867 titles. The distribution of research by IPB University Masters students during the 2019-2020 main field group was mostly in class 600, namely the fields of applied sciences, medicine, and technology as many as 834 (44.6%). The co-word mapping on keywords in the postgraduate thesis research of IPB in 2019-2020 obtained as 7603 keywords with a limit of occurrence of at least 5 times divided into 12 clusters consisting of 144 items, 364 links, and 433 total link strength.

Metode Penelitian.Metode riset kuantitatif dan analisis data deskriptif. Data riset dari Scientific Journals of IPB University. Data dilacak Harzing’s Publish or Perish melalui Google Scholar. Data Analisis.Data diolah dan dianalisis menggunakan Microsoft Excel, UDC- Summary, dan VOSviewer. Hasil dan Pembahasan.Topik riset teridentifikasi 6.089judul paling banyak pada Jurnal Ilmu dan Teknologi Kelautan Tropis 309judul. Bidang ilmu paling banyak diteliti terutama kelas (6)Ilmu terapan dan teknologi 4.608judul, kelas (658)Manajemen bisnis dan administrasi. Organisasi komersial 708judul. Subyek dan kata-kunci paling banyak diteliti kelas (664.8/.9)Teknik pengawetan makanan 373 terjadi tahun 2018, volume riset sangat padat, dan SWOT 56 terjadi tahun 2018, volume riset sangat padat. Produktivitas penulis kesatu Bambang Hero Saharjo 11judul, penulis kedua Ujang Sumarwan 30judul, penulis ketiga Lilik Noor Yuliati 21judul, penulis keempat dan kelima Didah Nur Faridah 9judul, Cece Sumantri 8judul. Kesimpulan.Tren riset kelas utama (6)Ilmu terapan dan teknologi. Produktivitas penulis berdasarkan dalil Lotka baik secara keseluruhan, derajat kolaborasi 0,95. Penulis paling produktif, Bambang Hero Saharjo, Ujang Sumarwan, Lilik Noor Yuliati, Didah Nur Faridah.

Abstract

Pendahuluan. Penelitian ini mengkaji perilaku penelitian (research behaviour) dari Jurnal Pustakawan Indonesia (JPI) terbitan Perpustakaan Institut Pertanian Bogor. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pola sitiran karya ilmiah penulis jurnal JPI Metode Penelitian. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif melalui pengambilan data artikel Jurnal Pustakawan Indonesia dan observasi terhadap lima puluh satu artikel JPI. Data Analisis. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah statistik deskriptif. Analisis sitiran, produktivitas dan pola kepengarangan serta keusangan literatur dilakukan terhadap 51 artikel JPI. Ruang lingkup kajian dibatasi pada artikel JPI yang diterbitkan tahun 2016-2020. Hasil dan Pembahasan. Kajian ini menemukan bahwa sitiran bahasa Indonesia merupakan sitiran terbanyak (62,39%) dibandingkan sitiran bahasa asing (37,61%). Jumlah penulis yang terlibat adalah 107 penulis. Produktivitas penulis tertinggi adalah yang menulis sebanyak enam artikel diikuti dengan lima artikel masing-masing satu orang. Karya tulis yang ditulis oleh penulis ganda sebanyak 69%. Indeks kolaborasi penulis sebesar 0,69. Literatur tertua yang digunakan oleh artikel adalah 50 tahun atau lebih, sedangkan yang termuda adalah dibawah lima tahun.
